This post leads me to the thought of the day. McDonalds company are the most strategic people in the whole world. How is it that everytime you are stumbling in from the bar you ALWAYS manage to hit a McDonalds, and they are ALWAYS open. The Charing Cross McDonalds gets us everytime... just trying so hard to go from Covent Garden to the train without stopping; it never works! Sneaky buggers.
Anyways, we had an ultra swanky night last night, with our Wilmington girl crew - we headed out to "Dirty Martini" where we had a VIP table reserved for us for Happy Hour Martinis. Yum. The drinks took like 10 hours to come to us (rubbish!), so we headed out to the Porterhouse, where you can instantly get drinks and even dance to a live band.
Sometimes, when I'm getting down on my job, or even down on England itself, I always have to remember, that this is a good life. There is nothing better than going out with the girls for drinks, meeting up with old friends (lovely Erik joined us!), and living the dream over here in Jolly Ole. Sooo much bliss!
