Upon arriving back, after successfully finding Nessie, we decided it was time to get our drink on. After an unsuccessful attempt to pick up our clearly-taken hot tour guide, we were feeling a bit rejected. We sauntered slowly back to our hostel, and stumbled upon a lost soul. He was severely underdressed for the weather, in a t-shirt, in the 5degree rain shower, and was holding an action figure. He came up to ask us (the ones with maps and raincoats, and funny accents, clearly not locals) for directions to the "Sisters pub". He was drunk and lost his friend's Stag "do". We pointed him in what we thought might be the right direction, and he politely invited us to join him later. Or at least, that's how I will tell you it went down. We did not, I repeat, did not, just get ourselves gussied up and follow him there. We would not do that. We are WAY above stuff like that. Plus, Troy had recommended the same bar (Called "Three Sisters") earlier in the day for us to check out, so... it's not like we're stalkers or anything like that. Shut up.
So we head to Three Sisters, stopping to take a few nighttime pics -
Haha! Of course we dorked out and stopped at the Birthplace of Harry Potter. Amazing.
We met up with the Stag Do at Three Sisters; action figure boy was delighted we joined him. Along with their stag do (the groom-to-be dressed as Indiana Jones, talked to us about how much he loves the Warblers... I'll leave that reference open for those in the know... ahah!), there was an international rugby tournament in Edinburgh that night... all the rugby teams landed somehow at the same bar as us. This seemed like a sweet opportunity to charm our way into free drinks and maybe even the VIP lounge? Negative.
Jocelyn ended up offending the entire Portoguese team, and I swore at a bouncer, pretty much solidifying the end of our night out. Classy broads that we are...
Can dress us up, but can't really take us anywhere...
That's okay though - we had big plans for the next day - a journey to Hogwarts!
