On our second (and final) day in Paris we met the one and only Genevieve, the fine specimen that would be transporting us around Europe for the rest of the week. She was a beaut!
Genevieve (affectionately called Jenny throughout the trip) did a number on us a few times, leading us through shady areas of France and trying to send us through pedestrian walkways and tramlines, but all-in-all that loving Jenny got us around just fine.

En route out of Paris we struggled a bit getting to know Jenny's system and the way she functions. This lead us to driving remarkably out of the what we can only be sure was the ghetto of Paris (apparently Jen wanted us to see the sights!). She also turned us into a bus lane (woops!) with a barrier separating it from the other lane, so we could not get out (oh dear Jenny!). After circling the dredges of outer-Paris, we finally found our way safely back to the highway and on our way, though that would not be our only encounter with Genevieve's slick sense of humour. More to follow as the tale of the trip unfolds.
