One day I asked a student to sit in his regular seat (the seat he sits in every day) and he just absolutely refuses. I tell him “If you get up and walk over to a new seat, you will have detention.” So the kid slides down off his chair to the floor and shimmies on his ass across my classroom.
This is my real life, can’t stress that enough.
