We have class sets of Ipods in our school with educational apps on them. My students now learn basic grammar skills through the use of ITouch Apps, it is unreal.
The thing about Ipods is that they are a child tamer. For real. It's listen an instant mute button. The kids focus so well with those little handheld things, and you can cut off the wireless on them so they only have educational apps, but they still just love them.
