Dani gets some culture...

We went to see my good friend Erik in a South London production of "Present Laughter", and I must say that I have really missed the environment of lower-budget productions in intimate theatres, where you feel like you are really a part of it all. Erik stood out as by far the biggest comedic presence on the stage, and overall, not just being bias, the biggest stage presence in general. Everytime he went off stage we all were lost and waiting for him to arrive back on again, and others in the audience who weren't us agreed.
Dreading the idea of Erik faking British, we were quite pleased he used his own accent and it didn't sound out of place at all.

A pleasantly humourous conversation in the women's washroom (men, don't ask, we talk okay?)
"How do you like the show?" - Lovely stranger
"Ya, it's good! Our friend is in it!" - Me
"Where are you all from?" - LS
"Canada." - Me
"Oh dear! I thought he was putting on that accent!!"
hahaha

The playhouse was really funky with an old, underground bar set up (with the original signs stating "Men only" for the pub).
